LSE was founded with the purpose of understanding the causes of things and for the betterment of society. Today, LSE is a world-leading social science research institution with global impact, where scholarly values are upheld and societal issues are publicly debated from a diversity of viewpoints.
LSE students are involved in the School’s outstanding research culture and create a wide range of outputs. The Houghton St Press supports students in producing their work as high quality digital publications that are open to a global audience. We publish books and journals and will encourage and facilitate innovative and experimental publications. The Houghton St Press publishes the work of LSE students produced as part of their programmes and as discrete student-led publication enterprises.
The Houghton St Press Editorial Committee is responsible for reviewing publication proposals. All proposals are subject to rigorous, subject specific peer-review prior to publication.
